Jake Waters set the K-State school record for total yards in a season in 2015, and he did so while playing the final seven games with a shoulder injury that required surgery. Waters tweeted a picture of himself recovering from the surgery today. He injured the shoulder after being tackled following a 51-yard run in a 31-30 win over Oklahoma. Waters wasn’t available to the media for a few weeks after the Oklahoma game and insisted that he was fine once he was again made available. Kansas State University came up several times during the monthly Kansas Board of Regents meeting held Wednesday. K-State Student Body President Reagan Kays presented at the meeting as chair of the board’s Students’ Advisory Committee. He reviewed the top priorities for students including Higher Ed Day on Feb. 10.
