Officers and detectives with the Riley County Police Department initiated an investigation into a death KMAN has been previously reporting on. The incident is said to have taken place shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at 312 Riley Avenue in Ogden.  This is the address of Ogden’s Best Gun Range. Riley County Police Department’s Dispatch Center received an emergent request for service, and officers and EMS personnel were quickly dispatched to the gun range. KANSAS CITY, MO.-Reigning Big 12 Player of the Week Nino Williams scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures and Kansas State overcame late game troubles at the free throw line as the Wildcats hung on for a 68-64 victory over former Big 12 opponent Texas A&M Saturday night before 14,884 at Sprint Center. Deborah Meeks scored 16 points and Shaelyn Martin added 11 as the Kansas State Women’s Basketball team pulled away from a feisty Grambling State squad for a 61-38 victory Saturday afternoon at Bramlage Coliseum. Grambling State, which plays a lot of road games to help fund their athletic department budget was not intimidated by the Big 12 arena as they trailed just 32-24 at halftime but in the second half the Wildcats were able to find their game and outscore the Tigers 29-14 to secure their eighth win of the season. WICHITA, Kan. (AP) The trial for a 39-year-old Wichita man accused of trying to kill his family has been delayed until March at the request of the man’s attorney. The Wichita Eagle reports Pettix McMillan is charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder for the March 24th shootings of his 36-year-old wife and two sons, ages 5 and 13.
