Four arrests were made Wednesday afternoon involving alleged prostitution taking place in Manhattan, reportedly at America’s Best Value Inn and the Clarion The first arrest RCPD made was Shannon Channell-41 of Junction City. Around 2:45, Channell was charged with prostitution with a bond amount of $500 and is currently confined. Donte Roberts-29 was the next to be arrested. Roberts was arrested around 4:00 p.m. for promoting prostitution, theft and endangering a child. With an added charge for a previous failure to appear, Roberts’ total bond amount was a little more than two-thousand dollars. Hottovy, 30, was 1-0 with one save and a 2.70 ERA in seven games for Omaha, striking out 17 in 10 innings. MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Riley County Interim Public Health Advisory Board took the final step toward becoming a formal body on Wednesday. The interim advisory board unanimously approved changes to a charter resolution that will establish the board as a legitimate entity. Riley County Police have arrested two suspects in relation to the April 22nd aggravated robbery at Anderson Avenue Wendy’s restaurant, and are looking for the third suspect. Police are looking for 20-year-old Steven Bryson Lawrence (pictured below). RCPD is cautioning the public that Steven Lawrence is considered armed and dangerous.
