Frankfort’s Emilee Ebert had a monster day at the TVL track meet last week. Ebert took home gold medals in the 100, 200, 4 by 100 and the long jump. She also holds school records in three of those events. Ebert is in the top four of all of those events going into regionals. On the basketball court, Ebert scored over 1,000 career points with the Wildcats and will be playing at Missouri State next year. From K-State Athletics K-State sophomore Terrence Spurlin was named Big 12 Player of the Week while junior Chris Ceballos was tabbed Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Spurlin, a 6-foot-1 first baseman from Cypress, Texas, produced back-to-back three-hit games in the Wildcats’ three-game series with West Virginia over the weekend. Spurlin hit two home runs and drove in four in an 8-6 win over the Mountaineers on Saturday before a 3-for-4 effort in Sunday’s finale.
