From K-State Three Kansas State football players – Skylar Thompson, Jahron McPherson and Deuce Vaughn – have been named Big 12 Players of the Week following the Wildcats’ come-from-behind victory at No. 3 Oklahoma, the conference office announced Monday. From K-State The Big 12 Conference and FOX Sports announced Monday that Kansas State’s October 10 contest at TCU will kick off at 3 p.m. and be shown on FOX. The home team has won each of the last two meetings, including a gutsy 24-17 victory by K-State last year in Manhattan, a game in which the Wildcats scored with less than three minutes left in the game and held on late. The Wildcats are 2-4 all-time at TCU, including a 2-2 mark since the Horned Frogs joined the Big 12 prior to the 2012 season.
