
Manhattan boys’ tennis reached 6A state after winning the Centennial League championship and finishing 2nd at regionals. Dominating down the stretch in singles competition was sophomore Jay Hoke.
Hoke won his 2nd individual league championship by winning all three matches. Only dropping two games that day. He then won his 2nd regional championship by going undefeated on the day and not losing a single game. Hoke finished the season 32-7. Off the court, he’s a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Life & National Honors Society. Excelling in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.
