“KSU Wildcats!”
That was the theme of Saturday’s event at the Flint Hills Discovery Center.
To help promote their football exhibit, the center is taking time to feature a number of different colleges and high schools in the Flint Hills area.
With football throwing, running, and other hands on activities, the appearance of current K-State football players, cheerleaders, and Willie the Wildcat drove home the message of K-State tradition.
An added bonus included the appearance of Veryl Switzer, a former K-State football player and alum.
Switzer talked about his time at K-State and how he made his way back after graduation.
The football exhibit will be on display until June 1 and over the next few months Emporia State, Butler County Community College, and some local high schools will be featured.
