K-State center B.J. Finney is on the Rimington Trophy watch list for a second straight season. The Rimington Trophy is given annually to the nation’s premier center in college football.
Finney is the first Wildcat to be a two-time nominee, and is the fifth overall to be on the watch list. Nick Leckey was a finalist in 2003.
Last year Finney was a first team All-Big 12 selection after K-State’s Big 12 championship run. He has started 26 games in his K-State career and enters his junior season with 25 straight starts at center for the Wildcats.
Finalists for the Rimington Trophy will be announced on December 9th, and the winner will be announced on December 12th at the ESPNU College Football Awards Show.
