The Kansas State Men’s basketball team has a shot to snag a point guard to help maybe fill the void for the loss of Angel Rodriquez to Miami. Gopowercat.com reports that Justin Edwards, who led Maine in scoring this year, will visit K-State this weekend.
He averaged 16.7 points/gm, 5.1 rebounds/gm, 3.4 assists/gm and 1.9 steals/gm this past season. Besides K-State, other teams that are interested in Edwards are big 12 foe Iowa State, Creighton, St. Louis, Marquette, Dayton and Boise State. Due to the NCAA transfer rules, he would have to sit out the 2013-2014 season but would be able to play the following year and he would have two years of eligibility.
