Longtime Manhattan High volleyball coach Mary Lou Morgan put together a sterling resume in her 17 years on the sidelines, and was inducted over the weekend into the Kansas Volleyball Association Hall of Fame. Morgan won 499 matches during her career along with 15 I-70 League championships. She led the Tribe to 13 state tournaments, including a 6A championship in 1986 and a pair of runner-up finishes. Morgan also helped found the KVA in the early 1980’s. She retired from coaching in 1999, and teaching in 2004.
