K-State women’s basketball will begin the new 18-game Big 12 schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 4, as the league office released the new double round robin slate. The Wildcats have also added another non-conference contest and a pair of exhibition games to finalize the 2011-12 schedule.
K-State’s Big 12 schedule will begin with a home date against the defending national champions, Texas A&M, on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Brittany Griner and Baylor will invade Manhattan on Saturday, February 4th. The Cats will meet rival KU in Lawrence in the second Big 12 game on Saturday, January 7th, while the Jayhawks make the return trip to Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday, February 11th.
The new non conference match up is at Marist on Thursday December 29th. Two exhibition games will be played on Thursday, November 3rd against Oklahoma City and Tuesday, November 8th against Washburn.
