WICHITA, Kan. (AP) Wichita police say they have no strong suspects in the shooting death of banker Tim McGuigan more than a month ago.
The 61-year-old McGuigan was senior vice president of Kansas State Bank. He was found dead in his home on Sept. 7.
Wichita Lt. Ken Landwehr says McGuigan did not fit the profile of a homicide victim. He says the bank executive had no criminal background and lived alone in a low-crime area.
And friends tell The Wichita Eagle that McGuigan had no known enemies.
Police say robbery didn’t appear to be a motive because nothing was missing and there was no sign of forced entry.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw anything unusual around McGuigan’s home between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 6 and 2 a.m. Sept. 7.
