    1) The Riley County Police Department said a criminal damage to property  was caused by a Fort Riley Solider Saturday. RCPD reported that Christopher Obryne, 25, caused $2000 worth of damage to a vehicle and was arrested. The dispute was labeled as domestic by the RCPD. Obryne’s bond was set at $1000 and later bonded out.

    2) On Saturday, Aleisha Duckett, 32, reported to the Riley County Police Department that her three, white gold, wedding bands and one, Princess Diana ring, were taken from the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road. The three wedding bands are valued at $3600 and the Princess Diana ring is valued at $100. There were no arrests made and no suspects at this time.

3)An act of kindness turns sinister for a man from Colorado. Eric Shumaker, 25, gave the two men rides towards the Northview area when one man pulled a knife to Shumaker’s throat and informed him that he was being robbed. The other man inside the vehicle possibly had a gun in his possession. Shumaker was then struck in the head by an unknown object. He was taken to Mercy Regional Health Center for treatment. Taken was $40, an iPhone, and Shumaker’s house and car keys. The total loss is estimated at $450. The robbery is currently under investigation by the Riley County Police Department.
