For the sixth year in a row, K-State will play in the Big 12 tournament, but will have to do so from the back of the field.  The Cats are the #8 seed in Oklahoma City and will play league champion Baylor in the opening round on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30pm.  Coverage will begin at noon on KMAN from the K-State Sports Network.  K-State is on the same side of the double-elimination bracket as Bedlam rivals Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.  The fourth seeded Sooners and fifth seeded Cowboys will clash in the tournament opener at 9:00am Wednesday.  On the bottom side of the bracket, #2 seed Texas A&M meets #7 seed Kansas at 4:00pm, and #3 seed Texas faces #6 seed Missouri at 7:30.

The Big 12 tournament will continue on Thursday with winners’ bracket and elimination games, running through Sunday’s championship game.
