    1.

    A Manhattan man reported an incident of aggravated burglary to Riley County Police on Thursday.

    Billy Spillers told police that sometime between 3 and 5 pm on Thursday someone took over 13-hundred dollars worth of tools out of his garage.  Spillers  says he  left the garage door open at his home on 3331 Wood Duck Way road, and when he returned home he found the items stolen.

    Police say the items allegedly taken included a 12-hundred Jensen tool kit, a Roto rugged case, and other tools and carrying cases.

    Police are investigating the incident, and have made no arrests at this time.

    2.

    Riley County police say a Manhattan couple returned home on Thursday to find that their house had been burglarized.

    24-year-old Bryce Amdur, and his 19-year-old wife Anna told police that sometime between 9 am and 5:30 pm on Thursday someone forced their way through their door, and stole items from their residence.  Items reportedly taken included a 42 inch visio television, gaming consoles, and an antique gold ring with 2 half carat princess cut diamonds.

    Total estimated dollar loss from the burglary is nearly 3-thousand dollars.

    Police say the case is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made at this time.

    3.

    A local store has reported a high dollar theft to Riley County Police.

    Dilliards employee Crystal Gonzalez told police that the store at 100 town center in Manhattan was the scene of an apparent theft. Gonzalez says on Thursday between 12:30 and 12:40 pm…two female suspects entered the store, filled up bags with merchandise, and then left the store without paying.

    The suspects were seen getting into a silver Lexus which was occupied by a third suspect.

    Police say the case is open, and the investigation is ongoing.

    4.

    A Riley County Police traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a Manhattan woman.

    Police reports indicate Faith Morehead was stopped near the 800 block of North Juliette Thursday afternoon.  Morehead was arrested after police found marijuana and drug paraphrenalia at the scene, and found that Morehead had warrant out of Riley county district court for a previous drug charge.

    Morehead was released from custody on a 7-thousand dollar bond.
