    Geary County drug-related arrest

    Members of the Geary County Sheriff’s Department made a drug-related arrest earlier this week after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle,in the 400 block of East Chestnut Street in Junction City. 

    Ricardo Jimenez, 25,  of Junction City faces seven charges including possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of A narcotic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a revoked driver’s license.

    There was also a seizure of marijuana, believed to be for sale, and miscellaneous currency from the vehicle.

    Deputies then obtained a search warrant for Jiminez’s address and an additional amount of marijuana, a small amount of suspected cocaine and miscellaneous items of drug paraphernalia were seized.

    Seized was approximately 25 ounces of marijuana, with a suspected street value of $7500, one gram of suspected cocaine and $851 U.S. Currency.
