    Manhattan City Hall

Manhattan Area Planning Board members were an agreeable bunch Monday evening, recommending approval in three different cases.

The group unanimously approved a request for annexation of the Reserve Addition, in the area of a 56 acre tract of land generally located west of the Colbert Hills Golf Course. They also voted seven to zero in a rezoning matter in that same area, following a public hearing. And a preliminary plat for the same property was approved unanimously, with three conditions. The applicant in the Reserve Addition matter is S-M-H consultants and Grand Mere Development.

The board also elected Gary Stith to serve as chairman and Linda Morse as vice chair. The proposed 2013-2018 capital improvements program was found to be in conformance with the Manhattan Urban area comprehensive plan, by a vote of seven to zero.
