Courtney Traxson posted eight kills as the #16 K-State volleyball team swept West Virginia in three quick sets at the WVU Coliseum, 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.  The Cats served ten aces including a career high four from Lilla Porubek, who added seven kills.  Alex Muff led a K-State effort at the net with 6 blocks to go with her half dozen kills.  Kaitlynn Pelger reached double digits in digs with 10, and Caitlyn Donahue had 27 assists.  West Virginia (8-15, 0-9 Big 12) was led by eight kills from Nikki Attea.

K-State (19-3, 6-3 Big 12) now will host Baylor at 7:00pm on Saturday night at Ahearn Fieldhouse as part of a Wildcat Weekend.  The Cats dropped the first set to the Bears in Waco, but went on to win in four.  The Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air pregame show will begin at 6:30 on 1350KMAN.com, and the match will be joined in progress on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN.
