Over the past weekend, damage was done to the newly finished bridge located on Neuchatel Road, in rural Onaga.
Sometime between December 22nd and December 27th, an unknown person or persons built fires on this bridge on two separate occasions.
These fires have caused damage to the bridge that may range from $5,000 to $20,000.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 785-457-3353.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
