The Manhattan City Commission approved the 2015 City/University Special Projects Request and Committee recommendation Tuesday.
The four projects planned for 2015 include:
-Intersection Improvements at 17th St. & Anderson Ave; and Bluemont Ave & North Manhattan Ave. Includes new pedestrian signals and crosswalks. Project cost: $107,000.
-Safety Improvements on Denison Ave between Claflin Rd. and College Heights Rd. Project cost: $248,000.
-Triangle Park Improvements. Includes brick restoration and electrical upgrades. Project cost: $45,000
-City Park/Aggieville Parking Lot Project. Paves and delineates 62 all-weather parking spaces on the north side of City Park. Project cost: $218,000.
The cost of all four projects totals $618,000.
