McCarthy Sisters Sign With Ft. Hays

Kelsey and Kylie McCarthy signed their letters of intent to play golf at Ft. Hays State Wednesday at Manhattan High School.

Both sisters chose the Tigers over Baker and insisted they didn’t go into the recruiting process intending on playing at the same school.

The sisters have been varsity golfers at MHS since they were Freshmen, and the duo finished tied for 10th at the state tournament this season. They helped lead the Indians to a fifth place finish as a team.

They combined for over 50 medals during their MHS careers and the Indians tallied 25 first or second place finishes during that time.
