The city of Manhattan continues to trend upward on sales tax collections according to the newly released November sales tax report. The numbers came in late Monday afternoon from director of finance Bernie Hayen. For November of 2016, Manhattan has collected $1,033,811 in revenue. Hayen says Manhattan continues to “inch along” as sales tax collections on the year are 2% ahead of last year, as well as $100,000 ahead of 2016’s budget projections.
