Friday’s featured four different segments.
Segment 1 – Kansas State University Research & Extension Horticulture Agent Gregg Eyestone.
Segment 2 – T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter Director Deb Watkins and Volunteer Coordinator Hanna Shoemaker with special guest “Smoke” – a 10 year-old pit bull crossbreed who has been at the shelter for more than two months and looking for a forever home.
Segment 3 – Riley County Seniors’ Service Center Program Coordinator Liz Nelson highlighted events coming up at the center during the month of March.
Segment 4 – Flint Hills Discovery Center Curator of Education Stephen Bridenstine and Assistant Director/Development Officer Kendra Kuhlman previewed some upcoming spring events at the center.
