    On Thursday’s edition of In Focus Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce President Jason Smith joined us for the hour.

    Segment 1 featured a recap of last week’s Flint Hills Regional Leaders Retreat, with discussions on K-State innovation and Fort Riley’s role in economic development.

    Segment 2 featured more on the leader’s retreat, including a discussion on housing and childcare that took place on day two of the retreat.

    Segment 3 featured Jason discussing the 15 under 40 winners announced last week and a general overview of its young professionals program.

    Segment 4 featured Jason previewing next Thursday’s groundbreaking for the Midtown Project at 12th and Laramie and the upcoming Chamber annual meeting Feb. 17.
