With a little more than a week until the filing deadline for the November general election, more names are emerging in the race for Manhattan City Commission.

The Riley County Clerk’s Office noted Monday that Rosemary Crumly-Loucks filed for a seat on the commission Monday morning. She becomes the fourth person to officially file and fifth overall candidate for a seat on the commission, joining incumbents Mark Hatesohl and John Matta, as well as Peter Oppelt and Rafael Rodriguez Jr.

The filing deadline is June 1.

The general election is Nov. 7.
