The K-State Alumni Association Board of Directors has announced the hiring of Adam Walker as president and CEO.

Walker, a two-time graduate of K-State, will serve in the cabinet of university President Richard Linton, succeeding longtime former president and CEO Amy Button Renz, who is retiring June 30.

Walker currently serves in the athletic department at the University of Memphis, where he is executive associate athletic director. Prior to that, he worked as the senior director of development for the Fogleman College of Business and Economics at Memphis.

Walker is expected to begin his duties on Monday, July 24th. He and his wife, Rebecca, have two daughters.
