    Matthew Muse, 45, of Manhattan was arrested on June 23, 2023, around 12:45 p.m. on his Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original charge of criminal damage to property. Muse remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $7,500.

    Kimberly Kilgore, 36, of Manhattan was arrested on June 24, 2023, around 10:00 a.m. on her Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original charge of forgery. Kilgore was issued a total bond of $20,000 for this warrant and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 900 block of Laramie St. in Manhattan on June 24, 2023, around 12:30 p.m. A 54-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his green 2000 Toyota Avalon containing clothing, clothing and duffle bags, and golf clubs were stolen. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,825. The car was later located unoccupied and empty of the additional stolen items by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for battery and criminal damage to property in the 500 block of N. Manhattan Ave. in Manhattan on June 25, 2023, around 1:30 a.m. A 24-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported four unknown men punched and kicked him causing his eyeglasses to break before running away. The victim was transported to Via Christi for treatment of neck and head pain. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.
