Riley County elections officials Tuesday said that they’ve added an additional day of advanced voting for voters across Riley County.
Advanced voting will be now occur this Saturday Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Riley County Office Building on the 2nd floor at 110 East Courthouse Plaza. County clerk Rich Vargo says that the added day will make it more convenient for voters and also help them avoid long lines as they’re expecting a large turnout on Election Day.
Advanced voting is also going on at the Bluemont Room on the 2nd floor of the K-State Student Union, although advanced voting is not open to the public on weekends at that polling place. Over 2,600 people have voted advanced in person ahead of the Nov. 5 general election in Riley County.
