Manhattan High boys’ wrestling showed their still very much a force to be reckoned with after a stellar performance on Saturday.

The defending state champion Indians hosted Smith Center, Dodge City, Blue Valley-Stilwell, Lincoln Southwest (Nebraska) and Paola for their annual dual tournament and rolled through all five, winning by a combined score of 347-51.

“They wrestled really well,” head coach Shawn Bammes said. “Those football guys are getting in shape. It comes back to practices. This is how we practice so we can let it fly on the weekends.”
