For his junior season at Akron, Johnson averaged 14 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game. While shooting 44% from the floor and 30% from three. Johnson scored in double figures 26 times this season Including a career high 31 points against Toledo in the MAC Tournament.
