GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP)  Former Riley County and K-State product Jordy Nelson caught only one pass on Thursday night for the Green Bay Packers, but he found the end zone on a 20-yard strike from Aaron Rodgers.  The Nelson-Rodgers’ connection was on the Packers’ first drive, but the Cleveland Browns took it from there in a 35-10 rout at Lambeau Field.

Former Oklahoma State standout and rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden showed improvement in his second preseason game.  He’s already been chosen the Browns’ starter.  Weeden played the first half, and was 12 of 20 passing for 118 yards.
