Rock Creek baseball improved to 16-5 on the season after last week’s two-game sweep of Clay Center. Breaking a school record on the mound for the Mustangs was senior pitcher Ryker Zoeller.
The record was broken in game two against the Tigers. Zoeller pitched over six innings, allowed just one run and struck out eight batters. Earning his 20 win at Rock Creek, Zoeller set a new school record for most wins in a career. He hit in game one and went 3-4 with an RBI. In 44 innings this season, Zoeller has allowed just six earned runs, struck out 50 batters and has an ERA of 0.94 ERA.
Congratulations to Ryker Zoeller of Rock Creek High School, the K-State Credit Union & Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center/KMAN “Student-Athlete of the Week!”
