It was a banner year for the Manhattan High baseball team, a school record 22 victories, a Centennial League championship, and a 3rd place finish in the 6A state tournament. Indians’ head man Don Hess was named the Centennial League Coach of the Year on Tuesday.

MHS junior Jesse Steinbring was named the league’s pitcher of the year and was one of five Indians named to the all-Centennial first team. Seniors Henry deNoble, Jacob Biller, Bret Fehr, and Kellen Meyers also made the first team.

Fellow seniors Ethan Fabrizius and Chris Klug were named to the second team. AJ Epperson, Garrett Francis, Alex Huerta, Michael Leeper, Jonah Webber, and Tyler Wohler all received honorable mention.
