Leti Romero will continue her college basketball career at Florida State after transferring from K-State after the 2013-14 season.

Florida State confirmed the move in a press release Monday. Romero was a second team All-Big 12 selection this past season while leading K-State in scoring and rebounding with 14.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

“Leticia is a significant addition to Florida State Women’s Basketball,” FSU head coach Sue Semrau said in the release. “She has already proven that she is a tremendous player at this level. She led her team in 10 statistical categories as a freshman in the Big 12. We’re looking forward to Leti being an integral part of the Seminole family.”

Romero will have to sit out the 2014-15 season and have three years of eligibility left.
