    Auburn Game a Sellout

    0
By John Kurtz on June 10, 2014 K-State Sports, Sports

K-State’s Thursday night match up with Auburn on September 18th is officially a sellout. The Tigers are coming off of a 12-2 season that included an appearance in the BCS national championship game against Florida State.

Only scattered singles and restricted view seating are available for the UTEP (Sept. 27) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 1) games.

Less than 500 tickets remain for K-State’s home games against Stephen F. Austin, Texas Tech and Texas. Fewer than 1,300 tickets are available for the Kansas game to close the home schedule on November 29th.

“K-State fans have stepped up again and are on the verge of another sold-out season at Bill Snyder Family Stadium,” said Athletics Director John Currie in a press release. “We are closing in on 20 consecutive sellouts and expect to do so before the season begins, and we appreciate our fans’ support in making Bill Snyder Family Stadium on gamedays the best environment in the Big 12.”

K-State’s 2014 schedule includes three teams that played in BCS bowl games last season (Auburn, Oklahoma and Baylor).

Single game tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday at kstatesports.com.
