    – The Manhattan High boys soccer team earned their seventh win of the season by shutting out Emporia 1-0.  The Tribe’s lone goal came in the 35th minute from Evan Williams and he was assisted by Jacob Stutheit.  Kai Reever put up a shutout in goal for MHS, and had three saves.  The Indians are 7-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the Centennial League, and will have a showdown with 7-1 Hayden on Tuesday.

    – The Manhattan High girls golf team placed third at the Hutch Invitataional at Carey Park.  The Indians shot 352 as a team, nine shots behind first place Garden City.  MHS senior Blake Fingalsen shot a 79 for 4th place.  The Tribe will host their home invitational on Monday at Manhattan Country Club.

    – Wamego volleyball swept a pair of mtaches from Marysville on Thursday night.  The Lady Raiders took the first match from the Bulldogs 25-16, 25-27, and 25-18, and grabbed the second, 25-21, 27-29, and 25-16.  Wamego is 24-3 overall and 6-0 in the NCKL.
