Details were provided Monday regarding a Friday night accident on highway 24 at Hoffman Lane.
Burton Lovgren of rural Manhattan was life flighted to Via Christi St. Francis in Topeka, after the motorcycle he was driving was involved in an accident with a pickup.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat indicates Lovgren was eastbound on his motorcycle on highway 24 when a pickup driven by Gary Edwards of Manhattan pulled off of Hoffman Lane onto highway 24. Edwards apparently failed to yield. He was not injured.
A condition report on Lovgren was not yet available.
