    One Person Shot in Junction City Incident

    JunctionCityPoliceOfficers in Junction City responded to a call around 2:30 Saturday morning, for shots fired.

    Junction City Police were called to the area of 52 Riley Manor Circle, in Junction City, in reference to shots fires.  While on the way to the scene, officers were advised a subject had been brought to the emergency room at Geary Community Hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds.
    The victim was identified as Isaac Johnson (25), and he was later transported to Stormont Vail in Topeka, in stable condition.  It was discovered that Johnson had been shot by an unknown black male while walking in the Riley Manor Circle area.
    Detectives are actively working the case, and ask if anyone has information on this case to call the Junction City Police Department at 785-762-5912, or crime stoppers at 785-762-8477.
