    Four arrested after gunfire in JC

    Friday afternoon the Junction City Police Department was dispatched to an area where possible shooting took place near the Ramada Limited located at 1133 S. Washington Street. During the investigation it was learned that two groups of subjects had been shooting at each other, but no injuries had taken place. Search warrants were obtained for three rooms at the Ramada Limited in reference to the shooting investigation, which led to the arrest of four subjects on drug and other charges.

    Arrested was Heidi Koehn, a 29 year old white female from Wichita, Kansas on charges of Felony possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Koehn was also arrested on a Pottawatomie County warrant for Failure to appear. She is being held at the Geary County Detention Center on no bond.

    Arrested was Jesus A. Franco, a 22 year old Hispanic male from Kansas City, Kansas on felony charges of possession of Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Franco is being held at the Geary County Detention Center on no bond.

    Arrested was Jose Cruz, a 20 year old Hispanic male from Kansas City, Kansas on felony charges of possession of Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Cruz is being held at the Geary County Detention Center on no bond for the local charges.

    Upon running the finger prints of Cruz it was learned that he was wanted out of Wyandotte County, Kansas, under the name Raul Soto on a warrant for being an absconder on a probation violation for a weapons offense. He was arrested on the Wyandotte County warrant.

    Arrested was Juan Cruz-Lopez, a 25 year old Hispanic male from Kansas City, Kansas on felony charges of possession of Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Cruz-Lopez is being held at the Geary County Detention Center on no bond for the local charges. Upon running the finger prints of Mr. Cruz-Lopez it was learned that he was wanted out of Wyandotte County, Kansas, under the name Fernando Soto on a warrant for First Degree Murder and numerous other charges. He was arrested on the Wyandotte County warrant and held at the Geary County Detention Center on a bond of $1,000,000 for Wyandotte County.
