For the second straight week, the Wildcats are scheduled for a primetime showdown.  After both K-State (7-1/5-0) and TCU (7-1/4-1) picked up big time wins on Saturday, the Big 12 Conference announced Sunday morning that Wildcats game against the Horned Frogs will kick off at 6:30pm, and be televised on FOX.

The Wildcats defeated Oklahoma State on Saturday 48-14, and are still the lone unbeaten team in the conference.  Meanwhile, TCU remained just a game behind in the standings at 4-1 with a 31-30, last-minute victory over West Virginia at Morgantown.

Join the Powercat Gameday crew at Frankie’s Sports Bar at 425 W. 3rd Street in downtown Fort Worth this weekend.  Powercat Gameday will be on the air starting at 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon.

In addition to the Wildcats and Horned Frogs, kickoff times have been finalized for the other three conference games this weekend.  Baylor will visit Oklahoma at 11am.  West Virginia at Texas…and Iowa State at Kansas both kick at 2:30pm.  Texas Tech and Oklahoma State both have a bye week.

This week’s AP poll has been released, and K-State has risen to #9 in the latest edition.  TCU has climbed to #6, and Baylor is at #10 putting three Big 12 teams in the AP top ten.  Oklahoma is at #16, while West Virginia lands at #24 after their heartbreaking loss on Sunday.

The next College Football Playoff standings set to be announced on Tuesday.  The Wildcats appeared at #9 in last week’s inagural poll…the top four teams at the end of the season will compete in a two-game playoff to determine a National Champion.
