    On Thursday’s program we heard an update on the 1st Infantry Division’s year-long Operation Victory Wellness program from Col. Geoffrey Norman and Major Doug Sharp.​

    Vickie James, coordinator of the Manhattan and Riley County Food and Farm Council weighed in on Gov. Kelly’s announced proposal this week to introduce legislation in the upcoming session aimed at eliminating the sales tax on food.

    Manhattan Housing Authority Executive Director and City Commissioner Aaron Estabrook joined us to discuss the new Bridge to Housing Stability program with peer mentor and MHA Resident Services Coordinator Romeo Vega in the first segment. The second segment featured Aaron joined by Manhattan Case Manager Karen Martinez and Junction City Case Manager Natalie Waldo.
