The Riley County Police Department is currently investigating two separate incidents of vandalism at Frank Anneberg Park and is seeking further information from the public.

According to RCPD Public Information Officer Aaron Wintermote, officers were called out to the park on April 24th after Manhattan Parks and Recreation staff discovered the vandalism.

A shed, baseball score sign and several bulk bags of sand were damaged (pictured below), resulting in approximately $3000 worth of damage.

Additionally, on April 15th, a report was filed for vandalism at Anneberg Park after a women’s restroom was vandalized and damaged causing around $600 worth of damage (not pictured).

Anyone with information on either case is asked to contact RCPD at (785) 537-2112 or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers at (785) 539-7777.
