On Tuesday’s edition of In Focus, Manhattan City Manager Ron Fehr and Commissioner John Matta join us to preview Tuesday’s City Commission legislative meeting.

The agenda includes a resolution, modifying the fall general election to elect four, rather than three city commissioners, due to a vacant seat on the commission. The meeting also includes:

Rezoning request for the MCM Landing Business Park near the airport

Consideration of an amendment to the Chamber’s Economic Development Agreement for creation of the Elevate Fund.

A $1 million funding request over five years from Manhattan Area Technical College for its ongoing Advanced Technology Center project

Consideration to authorize construction of a pedestrian walkway between Rally House and Goodcents in Aggieville.

Discussion of possible use of special alcohol funds for RCPD co-responder positions.
