In a change of pace, the Manhattan High Indians were not led by Senior M.J. Massanet in scoring in their final contest of the regular season at home. Instead, the play of  seniors Jenna Crusinberry and Onyeka Ehie who each scored nine points carried the team to a 52-26 victory.

Massanet scored a total of five points with assistance from the trio of Darby Price, Veronica Pitchford, and Elayna Spilker who each end the night with six points.

The win gave the Indians the 2011-12 Centennial League title with only two remaining league games left and kept their league record clean at 11-0. The Indians will turn around and travel to Emporia on Tuesday to take on the (7-11, 5-6) Spartans who are coming off a 41-38 win at home over Topeka West.
