Arrests have been made in the murder of Kevin Lynn Cockrum by the Riley County Police Department this afternoon afternoon.
24 year old Justin Charles Taylor of 619 Vattier Street Manhattan Kansas has been charged with 2nd degree murder. 20 year old Levertis Lee Horne of 513 N. 16th Street was arrested and charged with aiding 2nd degree murder.
Cockrum was found lying on the ground unconscious on the 11th of August in an alley on the north side of the 1000 block of Moro Street. Cockrum later sucumbed to his injuries after being flown to Via Christi Hospital in Wichita.
Taylor is being held with a $250,000 bond, and Horne is being held with a $125,000 bond.
Riley County Police say the two suspects did not know the victim.
