A Junction City man was arrested Thursday afternoon by Riley County Police for probation violation. RCPD indicates at about 1:20 PM officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Frank Cooper Jr., 43, on the warrant for probation violation with an original offense of domestic battery. Cooper’s bond was set at $3,000. A total bond of $8,000 was given as a result of a second warrant for failure to appear. ### A Manhattan man faces a $5,000 bond following his arrest at 12:43 a.m. Friday. The well-known four-legged former Riley County Police K-9 Officer Dino has died. Riley County Police Friday morning announced in a news release,” with a heavy heart the Riley County Police Department announces the passing of K9 Dino after he experienced deteriorating health issues due to his age.” KMAN did a story at the time when Dino retired in December of last year after a career of 11 years serving the Manhattan and Riley County community.
