TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer has been deactivated from all team activities following his arrest Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault. The counts stem from two incidents involving a 27-year-old female and an 18-month-old child at Dwyer’s home in southeast Phoenix on July 21 at 8 a.m. and July 22 at 4 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department. An October sixth sentencing date is set for a Junction City man who entered a no contest plea earlier this summer in a felony animal cruelty case. Michael Hall, 47, is involved in a Geary County case of hanging a German Shepherd puppy until it died. Halls’s last sentencing date was September fifth, but it had to be continued as the defense did not arrange for a required psychological evaluation for the defendant.
