The cacophony erupts as soon as you enter the Kansas state fair in Hutchinson. Organizers say over 350,000 people are set to attend the event over the 10 days the fair is open to the public. Today the sounds of animals, amusement rides, and the crowd was intermingled with the familiar call of the Kansas State University marching band playing next to a small picturesque lake in the park.
