  TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) A state board will meet Monday to consider allegations that U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts is not truly a Kansas resident and shouldn’t be allowed to seek re-election. Secretary of State Kris Kobach scheduled the meeting of the State Objections Board after four citizens from Riley County filed objections to listing the three-term senator on the August 5th Republican primary ballot. GOP tea party challenger Milton Wolf contends that Roberts lives in Alexandria, Virginia, where the senator owns a home. Riley County Police are investigating a report of an alleged kidnapping and sexual battery.   A 21-year-old female reported to RCPD that Thursday at approximately 2 a.m., she was assaulted in the northeast part of Manhattan by two males unknown to her. Every year, Kansas county commissioners from around the state join together for a conference.  This year was the 38th year for the event, and Manhattan was able to play host. Pre-conference registration kicked off the conference at noon on Tuesday, at the Hilton Garden Inn Convention Center.  The opening reception was later that evening on the Flint Hills Discovery Center terrace.
