K-State has it’s ninth known commitment for the 2015 recruiting class in the form of Mill Valley (KS) offensive tackle Evan Applegate. Applegate tweeted his commitment Friday afternoon:
I just committed to be a KSU WILDCAT!!! Thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me.
The 6-foot-6, 270 pound Applegate is listed as a three-star prospect by rivals.com and is the seventh best prospect in the state of Kansas. He has listed offers from Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and many others.
Applegate becomes the fourth K-State commitment from the state of Kansas in 2015, joining Lawrence Free State offensive lineman Scott Frantz, Bishop Carroll athlete Denzel Goolsby and Hays quarterback Alex Delton.
